cholihs - Whoa, I'm tired

Terry and I decided to go out last night, and so we met at my place at five and headed to supper at Applebees (free, because I had a gift certificate! Yippee!) After that, we went to the movie. We were early, and so we played a couple of games of air hockey first. I won the first one, he won the second, so we knew there'd be a tie-breaker after the movie. We saw Brokeback Mountain, which was really a good movie. After the movie we played our tie-breaker air hockey game. He won that one, but wanted to play again, which I won. So we had to play best out of five, and I played for all I was worth. I'd like to say I won, but honestly, I just realized that I can't remember if I did or not. Hmm. I'll have to find out about that. Anyway, then we walked across the street for ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery - their Strawberry Blonde is INCREDIBLE!! Then we came home and went to bed.

This morning we were lazing in bed and talking about how a girl I work with went tubing with her daughter, who's about Leah's age. Terry had already told me a while back that he wanted to go tubing sometime, so when we were talking this morning he got this light in his eyes and suggested we go. So we got ready and headed to Great Bear. We got there around 11:30 and left around 1:30. It was a lot of fun. Leah loved it, and so did Terry. I did too, but I'm awfully tired and sore now. It's not really that much work, but I had to pull Leah around from the slope to the tow rope and that was a lot more work than I realized. As soon as we got back, I had to go to church. I barely made it through, I'm so tired and sore. Then I came home and made supper really quick, because I hadn't eaten all day. Leah has been napping for over two hours now, and I suppose I'll wake her up soon, even though I hate too. She was nearly falling asleep on the tubes toward the end!

Anyway, Terry was going to come to church, but he fell asleep and didn't wake up til church was already started, so he went home to check his mail. We had considered going back to Great Bear tonight - really get our money's worth for the tickets - but he got some stipulation papers from Cindy's lawyer in the mail today and now feels bummed out and wants to just be alone to think a while. Which is just as well, because seriously, I'm exhausted.

Tomorrow I was thinking about taking Leah to see a movie, but now I see that Chicken Little isn't at the cheap theater anymore. Darn it. And there really isn't anything else age appropriate for her to see. Hmm. Well, I'll have to think of something else fun to do. And if not, well, today was enough fun for the whole weekend, I'd think!!
